Simpson, McClure & Creamer Head Press Event

Yesterday saw The Climbing Works host a press event for Cliffhanger. The idea behind the event was to show Sheffield's press what climbing, specifically bouldering, is all about, and to announce the change of venue from Graves Park to Millhouses Park, and also to announce a long term strategy which will see Cliffhanger bidding to host the 2013 Climbing World Championships.

Patron Joe Simpson headed the event with Lucy Creamer and Steve McClure also on hand to give demonstrations and interviews. The event was well attended with coverage by ITV, BBC, The Yorkshire Post, Sheffield Telegraph, Sheffield Star, Exposed Magazine and Climber Magazine.
