Where Will It Snow This Summer?
The people of Yorkshire should prepare themselves for unseasonable weather as 30 tonnes of snow is set to fall in the middle of July at Cliffhanger!
SNO!zone, the indoor real snowsports centre at Xscape Castleford, is turning part of the park into a winter wonderland by building a real snow slope with freestyle rail lines. Top professional snowboarders and skiers will be performing gravity defying tricks at the event, which also includes a live DJ set, family entertainment and the chance to win lots of prizes.
The team will set to work early in the morning to transort up to 30 tonnes of snow across Yorkshire, which will cover a purpose built scaffolding structure, to create the ultimate real snow 'Park Session'. Come down to see how the slope takes shape and hang around, chill out and check out the action all afternoon, where the SNO!zone sponsored team and pro-riders will be head to head pulling off some amazing tricks and freestyle stunts, competing to be Cliffhanger King of The Park!
