Climbing - Workshops
Bombproof anchors and rope-work, 1 hour
Place the perfect nut or select the best cam. Learn the dark arts of leader placed climbing protection and how best to use it. For those wishing to place nuts and cams with confidence and attach themselves safely. Learn some top tips and handy hints from the experts. If you have ever got to a stance and said ‘I hope that will work’ then this is for you.
Aimed at: Novice or intermediate adult climbers.
The workshop will be ground based and practical.

Self help for climbers, 1 hour
Lock off your belay plate, in reach or not, now what ?. A workshop of basic rescue techniques for those multi pitch moments when it all goes pear shaped. Top advice about slick rope work and tangle free rescues.
Aimed at: Intermediate adult climbers who have climbed outside.
The workshop will be ground based and practical.

Workshop information
All equipment will be supplied by DMM.
Instruction will be provided by local Mountaineering Instructors Nate McMullan and Ed Chard, both members of The Association of Mountaineering Instructors (AMI)
All workshop will take place at the Moon Stand by the big bouldering marquee at the northern end of the park.Be at the stand 10 minutes before the start time to make the most of the time.
Booking a place is recommended. Please email workshop@cliff-hanger.co.uk stating which workshop you would like to book, what time slot, and how many people. You will receive a reply confirming your booking.
