As the greenest city in England you are never far from one of 200 parks, woodlands or gardens many of which form part of Sheffield's walking trails.

Graves Park is the biggest public park in the City of Sheffield, covering around 83 Hectares (206 Acres) of land. It bound by the districts of Woodseats, Norton and Meadowhead and is a landscape of large gently sloping fields and formal parkland fringed by steep sided valleys of woodland. There is a stream running though the park which feeds three small lakes before cascading through the parks woodlands and joining a tributary of the Sheaf at Woodseats.

Sheffield's parks are proving to be the ideal venue for major events. The City has an excellent program including Funfairs, Big Top Circus, Highland Fling, Sheffield Mayfest, Sheffield Festival of Transport, Sheffield Fayre, After Dark and many others.
